EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - TABANG COAL UPGRADING PLANT (TCUP)

One of our project, located in Tabang, East Kalimantan is required the staff positions to enable the operation of the facility to operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for 7,000 operating hours per annum. The process plant upgrades low rank sub-bituminous through a drying and agglomerating million tones per annum. The TCUP facility also has a small coal fired power station to supply energy to the TCUP.

ENGINEERING/MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT (Job No. 531096)

Reporting to Site Manager, You will providing safety leadership to the Engineering & Maintenance team; Ensuring the Production plant and power plant maintenance activities both in the field workshop are completed safety, according to the agreed maintenance procedures and with minimal impact on plant availability; Implementation and management of preventative maintenance schedules; Implementing and managing of off-site maintenance programs; ensuring risk assessments and safe work procedures are carried out for maintenance activities; Planning and executing plant shutdowns in co-operation with the Operations Superintendent; Liaising and obtaining approval from the client engineering manager for any proposed changes to the plant or process design; Ensure all budgets, schedules, manpower schedules, spares inventory are reported to the Site Manager on a monthly basic including any proposed capital expenditure budgets.

To fill this position, You must have minimum of 15 years experience managing maintenance within mining/mineral processing industry; Mechanical engineering degree or Diploma or recognizes trade certification in Mechanical Fitting; Strong continuous improvement and change management capabilities; Sound understanding of maintenance management principles; Proven track record in implementing and managing industry best practices for OH&S; Previous experience in the preparation of maintenance budgets and cost reporting; Excellent communication (written and oral) skills in both English and Indonesian.

OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT (Job No. 531089)

Reporting to Site Manager, You will providing safety leadership to the Operations team; Ensuring the Production plant, Power plant and laboratory are operated safely, reliably and efficiently according to the approved operating procedures to ensure maximum productivity; Ensuring risk assessments for operation activities and supporting the development of safe work procedures; Manage logistic associated with raw coal supply and product material delivery; Manage lock out and tag out and other relevant site safety procedures; Ensuring product quality meets minimum specifications; Managing the development of operating procedures; Liaising and obtaining approval from the client engineering manager for any proposed changes to the plant operation procedures.

You must have experience as a field operator in a coal/minerals processing plant, including knowledge of crushing, mills, conveyors, cyclones, fans and pumps; Demonstrated application of safe working procedures and inpection techniques; Operating of Dozer, FEL and mobile plant c/w appropriate certification as required under Indonesian HSE codes and practices; Able to work as part of a team and encourage team building; Proactive attitude to safety.

CONTROL ROOM OPERATORS (Job No. 531111)

Reporting to Shift Supervisors, You will continually check all control conditions are set on SCADA and production levels are maintained according to instructions and complete operator log sheets; Respond to Shift Supervisor s instructions as to variations and modifications to operating settings and parameters on the SCADA control system; Report any abnormal readings or plant function to Shift Supervisor; Communicate plant operation characteristics to field operators while giving direction; Record operating parameters in operator logs as directed by Shift Supervisor; Maintaining produce quality to meet minimum specifications.

To be selected, You must have minimum 5 years experience as a control room operator in a coal/minerals processing plant, including knowledge of crushing, mills, conveyors, cyclones and fans; Essential control room operating experience of process control systems such as SCADA, PLC and DCS; Computer literate, competent in MS-Office programs; Senior first aid training; reporting and resolving reported Hazards and site safety incidences to site management: Demonstrated ability to apply safe working procedures and monitoring techniques for automated and manual control of the production plant through SCADA; Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Indonesian across all levels; Ability to work unsupervised; Able to work as part of a team and encourage team building.

FIELD OPERATORS (Job No. 531109)

Reporting to Shift Supervisors (and Control Room Operators), You will continually check all control conditions are set and production levels are maintained according to instructions and complete operator log sheets; Carried out field inspection of process and process equipment according to procedures; Ensure ROM coal stockpiles and product out loading activities required to maintain the process are as directed by Shift Supervisor; Report any abnormal sample readings or plant function to Shift Supervisor; Monitor dust and air quality at designated intervals; Carry out maintenance tasks and housekeeping as per housekeeping schedules; carry out sampling regimes; Replenish consumables to ensure area is sufficiently stocked for designated lead time; Ensure all budgets, schedules, manpower, spares etc are reported to Site Manager on a monthly basis.

To be successful, You must have minimum 15 years experience within the mining/mineral processing industry; Engineering degree, Diploma, recognized trade certification or relevant industry experience; Strong continuous improvement and change management capabilities; Sound understanding of process operation management principles; Previous experience in the preparation and execution of business planning processes including budgets; HSE certification is desirable but not essential.

PROCESS PLANT SHIFT SUPERVISOR (Job No. 531094)

Reporting to Operations Superintendent, You will manage the day to day operations of the Raw Coal Handling, Production Plant and Product Handling facilities; Reporting raw coal stockpile and product production rates; Ensuring product quality and sampling regimes are fulfilled, responsible for production according to according to plan and specification while ensuring efficient operation, loss control and reliable reporting of plant performance; Develop training and operating procedures to optimize operator and plant performance; training and subsequent performance monitoring of operating personnel; Responsible for health and safety at the plant; Responsible for implementation of lock out and tag out and other relevant site safety procedures; Responsible for on-going training of operational staff; Responsible for implementation of house-keeping to meet house-keeping standards; Responsible for environmental plan compliance within area of responsibility; Provide leadership and motivation white promoting a harmonious working environment

To be successful, You must have minimum 7 years experience in a coal/minerals process plant in a supervisory role; Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications in coal or mineral processing; Relevant safety accreditation training; Excellent communication (written & oral) skills in both English and Indonesian; Computer literate, competent in MS-Office programs.

PROCESS ENGINEER (Job No. 531102)

Reporting to Engineering/Maintenance Superintendent, You will provide on-site engineering support to the operations team; Troubleshoot plant and system operating issues; Optimise plant performance and plant reliability; Liaise with client engineering team to implement process enhancements; Manage on-site engineering consultants on a day to day basis; Liaise and manage local design engineering consultants on smaller engineering designs; Liaising and obtaining approval from the client engineering manager for any proposed changes to the plant pro process design; Ensure all budgets, schedules, manpower schedules, spares etc are reported to the Site Manager on a monthly basis including any proposed capital expenditure budgets.

To be successful, You must have minimum 7 years experience within the mining/minerals processing industry; Process engineering degree; Hydrometallurgical or coal combustion experience is a necessity; On-site experience with implement process plant and system enhancements; Strong continuous improvement and change management capabilities; previous experience in the preparation of maintenance budgets and cost reporting; Desire to learn new technology; Desire to collaborate with off-site client engineering team; Excellent communication (written and oral) skills in both English and Indonesian.

DAY OPERATORS (Job No. 523152)

Reporting to Shift Supervisor and Control Room Operators, Your responsible will providing general house keeping duties around the site to include, shovelling, sweeping and hosing of hard areas; Clean and wipe down of specialist equipment; Routine checking and recording for safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire hoses, eyewash station etc; Ability to operate a bobcat or drive a maintenance vehicle.
